The dry season, from January to February and June to September, offers the best game viewing as animals concentrate around water sources. However, shoulder seasons (March, April, May, November, and December) can provide good value and fewer crowds.
Amboseli can be reached by small plane or by road from Nairobi. Many safari packages include transportation to the park.
Amboseli offers a range of accommodation options, from luxurious lodges and tented camps to budget-friendly campsites.
Night drives are not currently permitted within Amboseli National Park.
